D. C. T.'s debut single, "Red Moon Rising", with it's intricate intro of funky beats and catchy guitar riffs, promises to satisfy even the most discerning music connoisseurs from the very first note. The almost one-minute intro fades to silence as Jāz's sultry vocals take the stage, rising up like smoke swirling in the still of night - leaving the listener suspended in anticipation as the music surges back for another wave of entrancing pleasure.

With it's provocative lyrics, the listener won't walk away untouched... "there are no hands that can choke you like your own... yours are the only arms that can hold you when you're all alone...", but perhaps will find solace knowing that "in the deepness, beneath our differences, we're all the same... we all feel the pain."

Red Moon Rising invites listeners to take a break from the fast-paced frenzy of life to experience something completely different. Take a moment to chill into the mellow funk... take a moment to contemplate... take a moment to feel the deepness.

Lyrics

lyrics

i can see the red moon rising...

full of fear

she beckons you to follow

and you abide.

there are no hands that can

choke you like your own

yours are the only arms that can hold you

when you’re all alone.

do you ever feel lonely

when you’re not alone?

and do you ever feel like you’re

lost when you’re at home?

you can lock yourself inside a cage

and throw me the key

but let’s face it

we’re only pretending.

‘cause the heart, you know, she’s made of water

toss her in the river and you’ll lose yourself forever.

that cage of yours

she can slip right through

but she’ll stay inside to please the mind

until it sees the truth.

do you ever feel lonely

when you’re not alone?

and do you ever feel like you’re lost

when you’re at home?

if you do

if you, if you feel it too

you’re not the only one

in the deepness

beneath our differences

we’re all the same...

we all feel the pain.

can you see

can you see me, baby?

you gotta look inside to see

if you reach deep enough

you’ll touch the part of you...

that’s me

the part of you that’s me... yeah.

i can see the red moon rising

shining, full of fear

take my hand, we’ll go on together

‘cause we got nothing to hide

we can choke each other

‘til we reach the light

and then we’ll hold each other, baby

‘cause it was all just fine.

do you ever feel lonely

when you’re not alone?

do you ever feel like you’re lost

when you’re right at home?

do you ever, ever

do you ever feel

do you ever, do you ever feel

lonely?

do you ever, ever

lost when you’re at home.

if you do

if you, if you feel it too

you’re not the only one

in the deepness

beneath our differences

we’re all the same...

we all feel the pain.
